Turns out I had libltdl.7.dylib lying around in my libtool cellar, so I linked it up: ln -s /usr/local/Cellar/libtool/2.4.2/lib/libltdl.7.dylib /usr/local/lib/libltdl.7.dylib
#Brew cask install xquartz no launchctl code#
Run the above code only if you installed xquartz brew install -cask xquartz brew install -cask -no-quarantine wine-devel. I made the following changes below, although it seems that this might be enough. To enable xAuth again on macOS Sierra: Reinstall X11 / xQuartz to supposedly reset any changes made by macOS Sierra. you have a docker image with x11-apps (or the equivalent for not-ubuntu) installed you have XQuartz installed (ie from Homebrew, brew cask install xquartz) and your PATH updated to include /opt/X11/bin and/or /usr/X11/bin. I noticed that macOS Sierra reset my X11 settings to disable my xAuth program. Sudo rm -rf /opt/X11* /Library/Launch*/.* /Applications/Utilities/XQuartz.app /etc/*paths.d/*XQuartz brew cask install osxfuse brew install ext4fuse diskutil list sudo ext4fuse. After installing homebrews openssh on El Capitan, ssh-agent no longer seemed to work (in the sense that after using ssh-add to cache a passphrase, I still got a system prompt when trying to ssh). you have to restart XQuartz after the config change.

Sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/_ist Tried installing xquartz to no avail, so I uninstalled it: launchctl unload /Library/LaunchAgents/.plist Getting closer, we have a new error now: ld: file not found: /usr/local/lib/libltdl.7.dylib for architecture x86_64 Ln -s libMagickWand-Q16.7.dylib libMagickWand.dylib Ln -s libMagickCore-Q16.7.dylib libMagickCore.dylib Ln -s libMagick++-Q16.7.dylib libMagick++.dylib Google tells me the names of these libs have changed, so run: cd /usr/local/Cellar/imagemagick/6.8.0-10/lib noĬhecking for InitializeMagick() in -lMagick++. noĬhecking for InitializeMagick() in -lMagick. It errors out: checking for InitializeMagick() in -lMagickCore. Tried to install rmagick by itself with gem install rmagick -v '2.13.1' Trying to get a rails project running, I run bundle but rmagick won't install.
